Who Am I?
Seven times CGMA award winner Brittany Loyd is a 16 year old from Carmi, Illinois has been blessing audiences with her music since she was 5 years old. Brittany sings Southern gospel, Country gospel, and some Contemporary gospel but her favorite still remains the old Southern gospel hymns. Her most requested songs at her concerts are "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art" acapella.
Brittany has won numerous awards throughout the tri-state area as well as Gospels Got Talent in Georgia in 2012. Brittany was asked to sing for 5 days in Pigeon Forge, Tn last May for the Southern Gospel Fanfare where she opened for the Southern Gospel awards ceremony.
Brittany is looking forward to a very busy concert schedule this year with concerts booked throughout the tri-state as well as Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and even on to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she is looking forward to a little "fun in the sun" time. She has also been asked to be a part of a concert tour in Belfast, Ireland and Germany later this year.
Brittany recorded her first cd in 2012 "Look For Me" which she dedicated to her late Grandmother "Sugar", Genevieve Kingery of Carmi. "Sugar" was always one of Brittany's biggest fans! She could sit for hours and listen to Brittany sing for her. Her favorite was Brittany's Amazing Grace. Brittany's second CD "Through it All" which includes original works will be available to purchase in December 2014!
